Hello, My son and I have the dining plan and would like to use our credits at Be Our Guest but my friend does not have the dining plan. Would my son and I still be able to use our credits even though the other guest does not?

Bonjour, Raeanna! It is with deepest pride and greatest pleasure that I welcome you tonight. And now, we invite you to relax, let us pull up a chair, as planDisney proudly presents: your answer!

I’m happy to report that you and your son can enjoy Be Our Guest Restaurant at the Magic Kingdom, or any other table-service dining location, with your friend and have no issue using your Disney Dining Plan credits. Just be sure to tell your server in advance so they can separate your checks or designate which items are covered by the Disney Dining Plan. You’re going to have such a great meal! I’ve had the opportunity to dine at Be Our Guest multiple times, and I can vouch that the Grey Stuff really is delicious.

You can find all the information about dining plans here, and if you have additional questions, don’t hesitate to call the Non-Reservation Support line to speak with a helpful Cast Member.

If you are considering other table-service restaurants around the Magic Kingdom, I would also recommend checking out Jungle Navigation Co. LTD Skipper Canteen and, while not covered by the Disney Dining plan, The Beak & Barrel. If you are willing to visit one of the nearby resort hotels, I’d also suggest a meal at Kona Cafe at the Polynesian Village Resort or Steakhouse 71 at the Contemporary Resort.

I hope you have a wonderful visit, Raeanna. Come right back if you have additonal vacation planning questions. You’re as welcome as can be at planDisney!

    Magical travels!
