Thanks for your great question. Children 10 and older are considered an adult in Disney terms when it comes to prices for
dining and other activities such as
specialty cruises. Disney operates on the honor system and no one will ever be asked to provide proof of age. If, by chance, your child turns 10 during your
Walt Disney World vacation, the general rule of thumb is to consider him the age he was when you first checked in for your visit. My little granddaughter turned 3 during a recent visit and we double checked this with a Cast Member at the ticket booth outside
Magic Kingdom. This recommendation was confirmed and we did not purchase
Park Admission for her (since children 3 and under are free.)
