Hello!!My oldest daughter (6), my youngest (age 2).From experience who go with multiple age children if character dinning is a good idea for once a day? I've booked one for everyday but I'm think it might be too time consuming?

    Hi Wendy!

Thanks for stopping by the Disney Parks Moms Panel. As the mom to two little boys, who are 5 years old and 2 years old, I have experience navigating the theme parks little ones who have different interests. For our family, we love to enjoy character dining during our vacations. On our last trip, we even enjoyed a character dining meal every day of our trip. I have found with my family that a character dining meal, especially for lunch, helps our day in the theme park go smoothly. Everyone loves the amazing selection of food available at character meals since there is a wonderful variety of options. For the kids, they get to meet several characters during our meal, which keeps them entertained while we eat and checks some things off of their vacation "must-do" lists. For the adults, a character lunch allows us to get a rest from the hustle and bustle of the theme parks while we enjoy our meal. We don't have to wait in line to meet characters, they come right to the table. While character dining does take a bit longer than quick service dining and some table service locations, we consider it a valuable investment of time because we are able to multitask by eating and meeting characters at the same time, so we can avoid some character experience queues during the rest of our day. And after enjoying a fun character dining lunch, everyone in our family has more energy to finish day!

Be sure to take advantage of Rider Switch so you can enjoy all of the "big kid" rides with our older daughter while your little one can enjoy the theme parks as well. T-T-F-N, ta ta for now!
