Hello, Joyce, and welcome to planDisney! Let's help you get this trip started in style!
First, let's fix your language settings. After accessing the
Disneyland Resort's website, log in to your Disney account. After that, go to the top right of the page and look for your name. To the right of the option to "Sign Out," you'll see your current language setting option. Simply click on it and select "United States (English)." After that, you'll be good to go!
Keep in mind that if you're using an incognito window, you will have to make the same selection every time you log in. My recommendation is to do it in a regular browser window so that your choice remains!
Now let's talk about your love for Star Wars... I sense the Force is strong with you, and your travel dates tell me that you will probably be at the Disneyland Resort on May the Fourth, which is fantastic. Tickets to Disneyland After Dark: Star Wars Nite are currently sold out, but this doesn't mean that you can't plan a
perfect day in a galaxy far, far away!
I cried and had major goosebumps (no spoilers) when my husband and I created a lightsaber together at
Savi's Workshop, so I highly recommend this experience for someone who loves Star Wars. You'll book this in advance of your trip
here, and I promise your Jedi heart will love it. I suggest scheduling it for some time around 3:00 p.m. so that you can enjoy the first half of your day before picking your lightsaber up.
My perfect Star Wars day at Disneyland Park would start by using the
Disneyland Mobile App to secure an
Individual Lightning Lane to enjoy
Star Wars: Rise of the Resistance through the Lightning Lane queue. After this strategic move, I'd start with a
Ronto Morning Wrap on the go, followed by a stroll through Batuu shops.
After that, you'd go pilot the fastest hunk of junk around in the galaxy at
Millennium Falcon: Smugglers Run. Then it would probably be time for lunch, and I'd grab a bite at
Docking Bay 7 Food and Cargo. A trip to Batuu wouldn't be complete with a visit to
Oga's Cantina, so I'd book it 60 days in advance using the Disneyland Mobile App.
Finally, I'd suggest ending your day at Star Wars: Galaxy's Edge to enjoy the nighttime atmosphere. It really comes alive at night, and I bet you'll hear a ship or two take flight!
I hope this helps you create the perfect adventure, Joyce! If you need more advice, please let us know. We'll be here to help!
May the Force and the magic be with you,
Julie
