Welcome to planDisney, Emily!
Thank you for bringing your question to us at
planDisney today, I’ll be more than happy to help! I would first like to begin with a huge “Thank You”, from my military family to yours. We are truly thankful for all your family has done.
When it comes to the
Military Promotional Ticket, Eligible Service Members include; active or retired members of the U.S. military. Unfortunately, your husband does not qualify for this offer. Hakuna Matata though, Walt Disney World Resort does tend to offer other great
Special Offers, Deals & Discounts. Even with my family being active duty military, there have been times that we’ve booked a vacation with other special offers. Depending on when you are wanting to visit, the number of days, and what you want to explore, there’s always something for each family! Since you are planning on visiting, I do recommend starting by checking out the special offers page, and going from there.
I do find that booking as a
vacation package is what usually works best for my family. When we select a resort, from the
Disney Resorts Collection, and add theme park tickets, we are usually able to get a better deal than booking separately. Plus, as long as you make your reservations at least 31 days before your visit, you will be able to
book with a deposit only and make payments towards your trip.
Emily, thank you once again for all your family does, please let us know if there’s anything else we can help you with when it comes to planning a trip to
Walt Disney World Resort. We’re all EARs!
