Hello, My husband and I are traveling to Disney with our 22 month old - any recommendations?

    Hi Cathy!

My wife and I have taken our sons since they were born.  A few pointers based on our experience:  go during a less busy time of the year, such as when older children are in school; slow down and enjoy the experience of visiting with young a young child instead of running from attraction to attraction; take your own stroller because your child will be familiar with it; consider staying at a monorail resort or renting a car to allow you to return to your hotel quickly to take a nap, rest, etc; consider a character meal, but don't rush character interactions until you see how your child responds; do those things that your child finds most interesting.  For example, you child may enjoy sitting on a bench eating ice cream over anything else.  I say "go for it"!

A lot of young children also love the very small splash area in Epcot.  Bring some spare clothes along with you!

The most important thing of all is to just have fun!
