Hi Mandi!
An upcoming cruise on the
Disney Dream? As Mickey would say: "Oh Boy!" So happy for you and your crew as you get ready to set sail on the high seas. I hope that the ship lives up to its name and that it is an absolute DREAM vacation!
Disney Cruise Line's
alcohol policy allows Guests 21 years or older to bring a maximum of 2 bottles of unopened wine or champagne (no larger than 750 ml) or 6 beers (no larger than 12 ounces) on board at the beginning of the voyage and at each port of call. Additionally, the policy states that alcohol brought on board may not be consumed in any lounge or public area. I take that to mean that it's intended to be consumed only in your
stateroom. But I think you are asking about what areas of the ship you can enjoy with an alcoholic beverage in hand, presumably that was purchased in one of the lounges or nightclubs.
While there is not a definitive list of locations onboard where alcoholic beverages are prohibited, I really don't see a place for them in certain spots like inside the Youth Clubs or Senses Spa and Salon. But I have seen guests enjoying drinks during the live shows in the
Walt Disney Theatre, around the pools, and on the outside decks.
The best advice I can give you is to use common sense and good judgment. If you have second thoughts about whether you should have a beverage in hand in an area onboard, chances are you should maybe choose to consume it elsewhere. After all, there are so many venues onboard where alcohol IS permitted that are designed with adults in mind. I'm thinking of the ample
nightclubs and lounges; the main dining rooms;
adult exclusive restaurants Palo and Remy;
Satellite Falls and
Quiet Cove Pool; and my favorite, our stateroom verandah!

SEA ya real soon!
