Hello, My husband and I are interested in Dine with an Imagineer at the Flying Fish Cafe. How often is this event held and on what days of the week? Is it still held if less than 8 people sign up? Does the price differ depending on the # of attendees

    Hi Mary!

My wife and I had the chance to do the "Dine with an Imagineer" lunch program a few years ago at the Hollywood Brown Derby. It was an incredible experience and I highly recommend it! The Imagineer who hosted our lunch was one of the art directors at the Magic Kingdom and he told some incredible stories.

With respect to the dinner offering at the Flying Fish Cafe, they typically hold these events on Tuesday evenings at 5:30pm. The good news is that if you and your husband are the only guests to make reservations for a particular week's event, they will still hold the dinner for you and you will not have to pay a higher price.

Here's a little tip from your buddy Derek:

It's been my personal experience that the Disney Imagineers have an incredible passion for their work. That being said, they love to share stories and answer questions from guests who would like to learn more about everything that goes into making Walt Disney World the incredible place that it is. So, don't be bashful when it comes to asking questions if you decide to register for one of these dinners (which I sincerely hope you'll do!).

I hope that helps! If I can answer any other questions, please feel free to write back and I'll be happy to help in any way that I can.

    Best regards,
    Derek
