Hello, My hisband and I live in the zipcode 93291 which falls into the discounted zipcode for SoCal residents however his Driver license is still in another state because we moved in recently and wanna visit. Would a bill with current address work?

Greetings, Ala, and thank you for visiting us here at planDisney! First of all, congratulations on your move and welcome to California. There's no better way to celebrate this new chapter than a few days at the Happiest Place on Earth. And the Southern California Resident Ticket is a great option to help you make that happen.

Here's what you need to know: The Southern California Resident Ticket is for residents within ZIP codes 90000 to 93599. To verify eligible residency, each adult using this ticket must show a government-issued photo ID (such as a California Driver’s License or California ID) at the gate. Unfortunately, bills, bank statements, and similar documents won’t be accepted as proof.

But there is some good news, Ala: This special ticket is valid through May 15, 2025, so there’s still plenty of time to update your ID and take advantage of the offer.

Also, have you heard that Magic Key passes are currently on sale (while supplies last)? If there's a chance that you might want to visit more than a few times, you should consider getting a pass. But you'd want to do it soon since sales can pause at any time. I have a Magic Key and love knowing that my next visit is always on the horizon. There are discounts on dining and merchandise, too, as well as other benefits. California residents can set up a monthly payment contract to split the cost (minus a down payment) over a period of 12 months. I thought I'd mention this in case you want to extend the magic out a whole year.

Once you figure out your tickets, it will be time to plan the timing of your visit. I love the Disney California Adventure Food & Wine Festival, which begins February 28 and runs through April 21. There are creative menu items spread out across multiple outdoor marketplace kiosks, as well as fun entertainment and the opportunity to meet Chef Goofy. You'll also experience the classic Soarin' Over California attraction, which will be a great introduction to the Golden State!

Ala, I'll wish on a star that you'll have a chance to visit the Disneyland Resort very soon. If you have any other questions, please don’t hesitate to reach out. We're always here to help!

    Take care,
    Kriss
