Ahoy there, Valencia. Welcome to planDisney. Thanks for taking the time to sail by planDisney with your question for us. I’m happy to see you’ll be sailing on my favorite ship,
Disney Fantasy, in April!
I like to imbibe a bit while on vacation, but my husband doesn’t drink. And that’s fine when we sail on
Disney Cruise Line since it doesn’t offer an alcohol drink package. Unlike other cruise lines where all adults staying in the same stateroom are obligated to purchase alcohol drink packages, you don’t have to worry about this when sailing with your friend in April. He can purchase individual drinks during dinnertime or at bars and lounges. There are also wine packages he can purchase to enjoy during dinner in the main dining rooms. You don’t have to purchase this in advance. Once you’re seated at dinner on the first evening, your dining room server can go over the wine package options if your friend is interested.
Also, your friend can
bring alcoholic beverages on board as well. All Guests aged 21 and older are allowed to bring two bottles of wine or champagne (no more than 750 ml each) or six beers (no larger than 12 ounces each) on board at embarkation and at every port of call.
I hope this information is helpful for you, Valencia. I wish you a magical sailing on the Disney Fantasy! Please wave hello to Captain Mickey for me. If you have more trip-planning questions, feel free to sail by
planDisney again.
SEA ya real soon,
Kiki
