Hello! My first time in Animal Kingdom since Covid19 change the world. Just to know if Avatar World and/or any other attraction require a virtual line reservation. Day in park May 21

    Hi there, Wilberto!

Thanks so much for stopping by planDisney with your question.

I'm excited to hear you have plans to visit Disney's Animal Kingdom Theme Park! I love the feeling of stepping through The Oasis at the front of the park, then coming over the top of the hill to get my first view of the massive Tree of Life - the icon of the park. Over 300 animals are carved into the trunk! I'm sure you can't wait to visit for the first time since the reopening, as Walt Disney World Resort Returns to a World of Magic. Your May visit is right around the corner!

At this time, there are no attractions in Animal Kingdom Park that require a virtual line reservation. In fact, the only attraction at Walt Disney World Resort that is currently using a virtual queue system is Star Wars: Rise of the Resistance at Disney's Hollywood Studios. That means, standby queues will be available for all of your favorite Animal Kingdom attractions, such as Kilimanjaro Safaris, Expedition Everest - Legend of the Forbidden Mountain, DINOSAUR, and Avatar Flight of Passage. Disney's FastPass+ system is temporarily paused at this time, so all Guests will wait in the regular Standby queue. There are physical distancing markers in the queue lines that may make the standby lines look longer than they truly are. Attraction wait times can be found within the My Disney Experience mobile app, and will also be posted at the entrance of each attraction. I've found that the wait times are usually about 10-15 minutes shorter than the posted wait times right now, so take that into consideration when touring the park.

I hope you have a wild time at Disney's Animal Kingdom Theme Park! Please come back and visit us here at planDisney if you have more questions before your visit.
