Hello My Father lives in Florida and he wants to buy his granddaughter tickets to Disney in March. I did read that as long as the grandchildren are under 18 he can do this. If this is correct, How does he go about sending us the tickets? Thanks, Kristen

    Hi Kristen!

Welcome to the Disney Parks Moms Panel! So nice that your father is buying his granddaughter's ticket! Since she is under the age of 18, he can purchase the Florida Resident Discover Disney Tickets for her. You are correct, minors do not have to provide proof of residency. I just purchased two passes for my boys (ages 15 & 16) and all I had to do was provide my Florida ID. All your dad would need to do is visit any ticket window at the Disney Parks or the Disney Ticket Center at Disney Springs and present his Florida ID. He can also purchase it online, however,  it would appear in his My Disney Experience Account. If he is not going to be present when you visit, you may want to have the paper ticket. If you have a My Disney Experience Account, you can add the ticket number once he obtains the ticket as well.

Did you know? From time to time, Disney will release special offers such as free dining plans, special room rates and great ticket offers. This is a great way to save money on future vacations! Be sure to find these and other great discounts on this page: Special Offers.

Hope this helps Kristen! It has been a pleasure assisting you. Please feel free to send me any other questions you may have!

I hope you and your family have a great vacation! Thanks for sending your question to the Disney Parks Moms Panel!
