Hello, My family and I went on our first Disney cruise back in March, on the Dream and it was amazing! Now that DCL will begin sailing out of Miami, we booked on the Disney Wonder. I know it's a smaller and older ship, are we going to be disappointed?

    Hi Yael,

I'm so happy to hear that you loved your Disney Dream sailing!  I love that gorgeous ship too:)

I understand your concern completely, but I really want you to know that I don't think you'll be disappointed at all.   Okay, you won't have the AquaDuck, but really will you miss the lines to ride it?  Nope...you won't.  The Disney Wonder is a beautiful ship.  It has all of the luxury, exceptional service, food and entertainment that you loved on the Dream, but in a much cozier setting.

The Disney fleet is meticulously cared for and you won't find anything looking worn or out of date.  I also believe that you'll come to appreciate the fact that you won't have to walk (what seemed like) miles to get to different areas of the ship.

I've sailed on the Disney Magic three times.  I've sailed on the Dream and the Fantasy also....my next sailing will be back on the Disney Magic...I wouldn't have booked a fourth sailing on the same ship if I had any type of concern that my family (or I) would be disappointed or bored.

I hope this helps Yael.  You are going to love the Disney Wonder...besides, would Mickey ever be part of the word disappointing?  Have a great time!

Magic Kingdom still takes my breath away, but my favorite place to be is on a Disney ship looking at the horizon and breathing in that crisp, clean ocean air!  I love planning Disney vacations for others and making sure it's more than they dreamed. Learn More About Marisol
