Hi there, Maryellen!
Thanks for visiting planDisney with your question.
Your Walt Disney World Resort vacation is right around the corner - how exciting! I'm planning a visit in July as well, and I'm counting down the days. This summer will be an awesome time to visit The Most Magical Place on Earth!
It's never too early to make a room request, if you'd like to ask for adjoining or connecting rooms for your upcoming Disney vacation. Adjoining rooms are two rooms located close to each other, and connecting rooms have an interior door that connects the two rooms. If you didn't make a room request at the time of booking, you can
call and speak to a Cast Member at Disney Reservations to add the request to your reservation. Since wait times are a bit long right now if you call, you can also reach out to a Cast Member using this
online email form. Make sure to have both reservation numbers handy so they can easily access your information.
When I make specific room requests, I always try to call the resort a couple of days before I arrive to confirm that it's noted on my reservation. That way, I'm able to take advantage of
Online Check-In and skip a visit to the Front Desk when my resort room is ready! Please remember that there are no guarantees that they can fulfill special room requests, but they usually do all that they can to make sure Guests have the most magical vacation possible. I hope you'll be able to get your adjoining or connecting rooms!
