hello! My family is planning our surprise trip! Its a last min trip and I want to go when crowds are lowest. We are looking at May 5th-11. We have a 5 DS and 23 month DD at the time. Will the crowds be manageable at this time? Thank you so much!

    Hi, Tanya!

A surprise trip to Walt Disney World is such a spectacular event! Have fun planning the surprise!

I use touringplans.com, an unofficial crowd-predicting site, when I'm trying to determine the crowd level at WDW parks. According to touringplans, the only crowded day in those dates is your arrival day, Cinco de Mayo. Magic Kingdom is predicted to be 9.3 out of 10, Animal Kingdom is 9.7 and Disney's Hollywood Studios is listed as 7.4; surprisingly, Epcot, which hosts the Mexico Pavilion, is only predicted to be 4.6 out of 10 that day (but I'll bet the Mexico Pavilion will be the most popular in the World Showcase that day!)

Other than that day, you are looking at expected crowd levels of 1-5 out of 10 on each one of your remaining days at WDW, so excellent choice, Tanya!

Send more questions as you plan this fantastic surprise; I'd love to help you make this last-minute trip spectacular!
