Dear Gina,
I'm so excited to know you're planning a trip to the Happiest Place on Earth for the holidays!
Halloween Time at the Disneyland Resort is Spooktacularly Fantastic and the
Holidays are simply Magical.
Although Disney never announces an exact time frame as to when guests should expect to see decorations for each season adorning the grounds, I'll share some intel, based on my own experience (winky eye).
Fall decorations usually start appearing during the second week of September.
This includes the iconic giant-sized Mickey Jack-O-Lantern at the entrance of Main Street U.S.A.
The Halloween festivities begin at the end of September with Mickey's Halloween Party, at which point you can expect exceptionally ghoulish details throughout the Parks, like the Haunted Mansion transformed into Jack Skellington's Halloween Town and Main Street decorated in candy corn-colored pleated bunt flags!
Once the Halloween Celebrations are over (usually the first week in November), Disney is fast at turning the Parks into a
Winter Wonderland!
By the second week of November, Christmas decorations are generally all set-up, including the incredible Christmas Tree that welcomes guests at Town Square in Main Street U.S.A.
All this to say, if you visit toward the very end of October and stay through the second week of November, you may have a chance to see both themes play out!
I hope this helps.
Thanks so much for visiting the Disney Parks Moms Panel.
Have a Supercalifragilisticexpialidocious Day!
