Hello, My family and I have planned to do Pirates and pals fireworks after dinner at Disney Springs. We would like to know about what time we can plan for dinner and then how to go to Contemporary resort to do The Pirates and Pals fireworks. Thanks a lot!

    Hi, Farahnaz!

We took three generations on a Pirates & Pals Fireworks Voyage at Walt Disney World, and that night was one of our family's favorite experiences of the trip!

Transportation from Disney Springs to Disney's Contemporary Resort, where your pirate adventure will begin, will be easy. There are buses that run about every 20 minutes from DS to each resort hotel. Keep in mind that the restaurant in which you choose to dine at Disney Springs may be a 10-15 minute walk to the bus stop, so include some time for walking in your timetable that night. From the bus stop at the Contemporary to the dock, you'll need another 10 minutes or so as well.

When booking any dining experience, WDW Dining recommends at least 1 1/2 hours for transportation. However, with such a special event planned for after dinner, I would suggest allowing at least two hours from the time you arrive at the Disney Springs bus stop to the time you are supposed to check in for the Pirates & Pals Fireworks Voyage.

Your choice of restaurant at Disney Springs could have you in and out of dinner in one hour...or much longer, so let your server know that you need to be finished your delicious meal once you are seated. Cast Members are happy to help you linger over your meal or expedite your order, depending on your needs for the night.

One tip: you might want to skip dessert at dinner, as you'll have lots of tasty options at the party you'll enjoy prior to shoving off for your pirate adventure.

Be sure to send us more questions as you plan, we love to help!
