Hello! My family and I want to plan a trip to Disneyland for November 1st or 2nd, but I heard that on those days Disneyland will close earlier than usual and less attractions will be open. Is there a way to confirm this? I want it to be a magical 1st time!

Hey there, hi there, Kelly! Thanks so much for taking the time to stop by planDisney with your question. I'm so excited to hear you are thinking about visiting Disneyland Resort soon and I want your first time to be a magical time too!

I just took a look at the Park Times and Events Schedule and it looks like we are just a few days shy of being able to see the times and information for your dates. They should most likely show up sometime this week. I haven't heard about anything happening on that date but hopefully, you'll have your answers in a few days so you can decide if those dates are the right time for you. I do know that since this is the day after Halloween, there will be decor transitioning from spooky to holiday celebrations, but this shouldn't cause any attractions to become unavailable except for "it's a small world" as it prepares for its holiday overlay.

Whenever your family decides to make your first visit to The Happiest Place on Earth be sure to stop by City Hall at Disneyland Park or Chamber of Commerce at Disney California Adventure Park to grab your complimentary "I'm Celebrating.." buttons to let everyone know it's your first visit!

Kelly, thanks again for stopping by! Please come back and visit us again with any other questions you have along the way!

Well hello friend! I'm Carrie, a work-from-home mama and military wife who currently calls sunny San Diego home. We love that we are close enough to Disneyland Resort to make a last-minute trip to see the Mouse quite frequently. You'll find us in the parks braving drops and coasters to work up our appetite to take as many snack breaks as we can fit in! I love helping my friends plan memorable trips to Disneyland Resort and can't wait to help you too! Learn More About Carrie
