Hello. My family plan on coming to disneyworld in June. With an 8 year old, 3 year old and a 7 month old. Just curious if our baby will not be allowed on the slow rides or is there anything to know about bringing a baby. Thank you!

    Hi Joanne,
Welcome to the Disney Parks Moms Panel! I love family trips to the Walt Disney World Resort and I've done visits with infants and children of all ages. Our younger children had their first visits at just six weeks old and our oldest is now in college and still loves family visits to Disney.  There are so many things you can do with children of all ages.

Your 7 month old will have a surprising variety of things that they can ride.  Here's a great Disney Parks Blog post by my sweet friend Jamie about height requirements.  The post is just a bit dated but you can see the long list of things your little ones can do no matter what their age!

For things that you would like to experience with your older children, I'd like to tell you about the Rider Switch pass that's available in all four Walt Disney World theme parks for some select attractions.  Your entire party will need to approach the Cast Member at the attraction you are interested in riding.  At that time, you split into two groups.  Party A rides the attraction while Party B waits in a designated waiting area with the non-riders.  When Party A has completed the attraction, they take over with the non-riders and Party B is able to enjoy the attraction after waiting in the FastPass+ line.  Three guests are allowed per Rider Switch pass.

Joanne, I hope this helps you in your planning for your upcoming vacation.

    Best Wishes,
    Amy S.
