Hi Josh! Thanks for reaching back out to us at planDisney to help you plan your upcoming trip!
The
Water Parks and Sports Option allows you access to even more of the magic of the
Walt Disney World Resort. You can enjoy the water parks (currently
Disney's Typhoon Lagoon Water Park is open) and enjoy other fun like
Disney's Fantasia Gardens Miniature Golf Course and more! There's so much to do at the resort and this add-on allows you to see a bunch of it while giving you a few options to choose from!
If you purchased a
vacation package (tickets
and Disney Resorts Collection Hotel stay purchased together), you will be able to use your 3 days of theme park admission and 3 days of admission to one of the Water Park and Sports options at any point during your stay. So yes, you would be able to go to a water park on Monday and then enjoy 3 days in the theme parks. If you purchased your theme park tickets separately, according to the
ticket expiration timeline, your 3-day ticket will expire 5 days after your selected start date. In other words, you would need to use your 3 theme park days and 3 Water Park and Sports options within that 5-day window. But, you would still have the option of going to a water park on your first day and then subsequently doing 3 park days.
Josh, I think that you're going to have a wonderful December visit to the resort. Be sure to check out
Mickey's Very Merry Christmas Party at
Magic Kingdom Park and the
EPCOT International Festival of the Holidays! These events will definitely get you in the holiday spirit!
Please feel free to
reach out to me if you have any other questions.
Just keep swimming,
Matt
