Hi there, Adam!
The best Walt Disney World Resort vacations that I have taken have been with other families. The adults love socializing while the kids enjoy experiencing the magic with their friends or cousins. Really these vacations are so relaxing because everyone is just happy spending time together, regardless of how long a line is or what attractions we are able to do that day.
Adam, you can absolutely share planning with a few other adults in your party. Just have them create their own
My Disney Experience accounts, if they do not have one already. You can then invite them to connect with you through your Family & Friends list.
To invite someone to connect, simply log in to your My Disney Experience account, click on
Family & Friends and enter that person's details. On the next step you will have the option to "send them an email." Once they accept your request, you will be able to see their details on your account, and vice versa.
One thing I want to caution you about is that children's plans can not be shared. You can either plan for all the minors, or each family can manage their own kid's plans. If you are looking at only a dining reservation, there is no problem with making a reservation for 4 and not having one child named on the reservation, as long as they are included on the total count. The child's ticket will need to be linked to the account that is doing things like making Genie+ and
Lightning Lane reservations.
I just know that you will have a wonderful trip, Adam.
Happy Planning!
Sarah B.
