Hello, My daughter will be turning 10 in Mar 2013, and we will be at disney.I want to do something really special for her while we are there but I don't know where to start. She is the original princess:), so this needs to be an unforgettable birthday.

I'm sure that your daughter's double digit birthday at Disney will be unforgettable indeed, Rasta.  Have you considered doing a special tour with her?  The Wild Africa Trek is very popular, and I think you'll see why; it looks amazing!  If you're looking for something slightly more traditional, I'd suggest dining with royalty at Cinderella's Royal Table.  Dinner would be slightly more elegant an event than breakfast, perhaps more in line with your ten-year-old's tastes?  On the other hand, if she likes some rowdy fun, you'll definitely want to look into dinner at the Hoop Dee Doo Musical Revue.  That dinner show is a must do for my family every single time we visit; it's a hootin', hollerin' good time!

Hopefully one of those suggestions will be just the thing to celebrate your daughter's milestone birthday at Disney.  Enjoy!

Given your inclination to plan a magical trip, I can already tell we have a lot in common. I'm Darcie, and my friends would be the first to tell you that Disney trip planning (especially dining!) is my love language. Of course, the vacations my family enjoys today look much different than they did when our kids were little, but while some of our favorite activities have evolved, Disney destinations still top our travel wish lists. Let's work together to plan a downright dreamy vacation for your family! Learn More About Darcie
