Hello, My brother in law lives in Florida and is looking to get me Florida Resident tickets for the parks, is this something he can do for me?

Hi, Allyson! Thanks for stopping by the Disney Parks Moms Panel with your question!

It's so nice of your brother-in-law to want to share some Disney magic with you. I totally get it - as a Floridian myself, I love to visit the Walt Disney World Resort with family and friends. I'm afraid the one thing we can't share, though, is our Florida Resident Disney discount. Any adult who plans to use a Florida Resident Ticket will have to provide proof of Florida residency at Guest Relations before the ticket can be activated and used to enter a Theme Park.

But there may be other discounts you can take advantage of, Allyson. Take a look at the Special Offers page on the Walt Disney World website for a list of discounts on things like Resort hotel stays, Memory Maker, or vacation packages. There's almost always some kind of discount that can help you save a little money on your dream vacation.

I hope this helps you plan a practically perfect visit to Walt Disney World, Allyson. Please come see us again if you have any more questions!

    Keep Disney Dreaming,

    Kathy K.

Meet the Panelist: Kathy, Florida

I've lived my whole life just an hour's drive from Walt Disney World, so I've been a regular visitor for as long as I can remember. Even after all these years and so many visits, I love that there's still so much to discover! Now that I'm a mom myself, seeing my favorite place through my son's eyes has given me a whole new perspective that I enjoy sharing with other parents of young children. Learn More About Kathy
