Hello! Last time we visited Disney was 3 years ago. We'll be there again next January. Do we have to take our old magic bands with us, or do we get new ones? Thank you!!

    Hello Karla!
Yes, you can use your MagicBands from a previous Walt Disney World vacation for your next Walt Disney World vacation as long as they are active in your My Disney Experience. The battery inside the MagicBand typically lasts for up to two years or more so you can use your MagicBand for more than one Walt Disney World vacation. In your case since it has been three years ago since you originally received your MagicBands, I would recommend getting new MagicBands for your January 2018 Walt Disney World vacation.  If you are staying at a Walt Disney World Resort, then new MagicBands with be complementary with your Walt Disney World Resort reservation. You can also purchase MagicBands online at the Disney Store. I hope that your January 2018 Walt Disney World vacation is truly magical in every way!
