Hello Hannah!
Welcome to planDisney! Thanks for stopping by as you make final preparations for your
Walt Disney World adventure. Your enchanting escape is just about here, and I'd be delighted to talk about indulging in some sweet treats during your stay.
The beloved croissant-donut hybrid, also known as "the cronut," once graced the menus at select Joffrey's kiosks and
Connections Café in
EPCOT. Unfortunately, at this time, the cronut is nowhere to be found in Walt Disney World. Menus change frequently, so be sure to swing by Connections Café to check out their current bakery offerings.
If pastries are your thing, I'll share a few of the best places to satisfy a sweet tooth.
*At EPCOT, head to
Les Halles Boulangerie-Patisserie for a selection of croissants that will transport your taste buds straight to France. My personal favorite is the pain au chocolat.
*Also in EPCOT, don't miss
Kringla Bakeri Og Kafe in the Norway pavilion, where the famous school bread lives up to every bit of its reputation.
*At
Magic Kingdom Park, no one bakes like Gaston! My daughter and I shared the creme brulee croissant at
Gaston's Tavern last month, and we're still talking about this decadent new treat.
*Visit
Kusafiri Coffee Shop & Bakery in
Disney's Animal Kingdom Theme Park, where you'll find a pistachio honey croissant and a variety of danishes to awaken the senses en route to your
African safari.
*
Everglazed Donuts & Cold Brew is your go-to spot in
Disney Springs for an extensive selection of classic and "funky" pastries.
I hope this is helpful, Hannah. Even if you can't find a cronut on your trip, many delicious delights away. Plus, you're arriving just in time for the
EPCOT International Food & Wine Festival. The lemon poppyseed cake at Earth Eats (near The Land) is calling my name! Thanks again for coming to see us at planDisney, and best wishes for a magical vacation.
Bon appetit,
Betsy
