Hello, It looks like It’s a Small World Nursery is still close. Do you know when it might be open again? If not, does Disney Wish offer in room babysitting services? Thank you

Ahoy there, Kay! Welcome to planDisney, and thank you for sailing our way with your question about "it's a small world" Nursery!

You're correct, as of January 2022, the nursery is still one of the offerings that is currently unavailable during Disney Cruise Line's return to sailing. As the father of a little castaway of my own, I'm also looking forward to when we get word that the nursery will be back open. Not only is it the part Disney Cruise Line that lets my wife and I reserve a romantic dinner at Palo or Remy, or a spa treatment at Senses Spa & Salon, but also is one of the few places anywhere that gives us the peace of mind that our little one is having the time of his life while in the capable hands of highly-qualified caregivers!

We still don't know when exactly the nursery will be reopened, but like the tides, policies and offerings are subject to change. I know I'll be keeping my eyes on the latest Disney Cruise Line Guide to Updated Experiences for when things may signal the nursery's reopening is on the horizon.

Now, as for your question about the Disney Wish, there are so many details that are still to be revealed that we just don't know yet! While we know the "it's a small world" Nursery! and Mickey & Minnie Captain’s Deck will be aboard the Disney Wish - alongside some of the exiting spaces at Disney's Oceaneer Club, Marvel Super Hero Academy, Star Wars Cargo Bay, Walt Disney Imagineering Lab, Fairytale Hall, and more - we have yet to discover all the exciting spaces and offerings on the latest ship in the fleet. I know I'm trying to be patient while everything is revealed to us, but until then, we can keep DREAMing of what additional childcare options may be offered!

Kay, there may be a few foggy stretches of sea between now and your departure in August, but with a little faith, trust, and pixie dust, we're sure to have our bearings for an incredible inaugural sailing season on the Disney Wish soon. Keep an eye on the Disney Cruise Line website, the DisneyParks Blog, and right here at planDisney for the latest news as soon as its available!

I WISH you happy continued planning for your upcoming vacation, Kay, and can't wait to see what you think of the Disney Wish! If you find yourself with more questions, feel free to drop a message in a bottle our way.

    Fair winds and following seas!
