Hello there Melissa,
Welcome to planDisney! I'm so glad you stopped by with your question.
I'm thrilled to hear you and your spouse are thinking about a trip to the Disneyland Resort! There are some really delicious drink options you can find all over the resort - I'll be sure to include some recommendations with you below.
Regarding purchasing alcoholic beverages during your trip, your spouse will need to present one of three identification options. The first is an identification card issued by a governmental agency in the United States (Federal, State, Territory,* County, City) that contains the person's name, date of birth, physical description, photo, and an expiration date. The second option is a valid active United States Armed Forces ID, which must include date of birth and a portrait photo. Finally, the third option is a valid original passport.
You can read a bit more on the
alcoholic beverage policy FAQ page of the Disneyland Resort website.
Now the fun part - what to try? There are so many amazingly delicious options. My top three recommendations are
Oga's Cantina in Disneyland Park,
Pym Tasting Lab in Disney California Adventure Park, and
Trader Sam's Enchanted Tiki Bar at the Disneyland Hotel.
Oga's Cantina is an absolute vibe. You'll get to enjoy some out-of-this-world tunes from DJ R-3X. My favorite option here is the
Fuzzy Tauntaun with its "Buzz Button Tingling" Foam.
At Pym Tasting Lab, it'll really depend on your favorite kind of drink, but I'm a big fan of the
X-Periment because it is just so unique. I love the habanero syrup for it's extra little kick paired with the mango flavor-filled bobas. It's a perfect mix of hot and sweet!
Lastly, I love staying at the Disneyland Hotel so stopping by Trader Sam's Enchanted Tiki Bar is a must! I almost always get a
Shipwreck on the Rocks since I'm a huge Bourbon fan.
Thanks again for your question, Melissa! I hope you have a fantastic trip to the Disneyland Resort.
Have a Magical Day,
Greg
