Hello, Kevin! Thanks for reaching out to us again here at planDisney.
To park in the designated
parking areas for Guests with Disabilities at the
Walt Disney World Resort, a valid disability parking permit is required. I spoke with a friendly Cast Member at the resort and he informed me that as long as your badge is current, it should be considered a valid disability parking permit and gain you access to these areas.
I'm not sure if you are aware of all of the services and options available to Guests with Disabilities at the resort. I encourage you to look into the
Services for Guests with Disabilities page as the Walt Disney World Resort is one of the most accommodating and accepting places on Earth in addition to being the Most Magical Place on Earth. For qualifying Guests, the Disability Access Service is a great option to help those who are unable to wait in standby queues.
Kevin, I hope your holiday to the resort is the most magical experience that it can be. If you have any other questions,
please don't hesitate to reach out to me.
When the world turns upside down, the best thing is to turn right along with it,
Matt
