Hey there, Shawna’, and welcome to planDisney! As a dad, I find great joy in being able to help fulfill my kids’ greatest wishes! And I like how your kids think- they know that when the opportunity presents itself, make sure you ask for the moon!
Shawna’, Walt Disney World does not currently offer a payment plan for ticket-only purchases.
Theme Park Ticket purchases require full payment at the time of checkout. However, when you book a Vacation Package, which includes Theme Park Tickets and a
Disney Resorts Collection hotel stay, you get the opportunity to pay off your balance over time. A $200 deposit (the amount is subject to change) is due at the time of booking, and the remaining balance is due 30 days before your arrival date. So you get all time between those two dates to make as many payments on your vacation as you’d like! My family has taken advantage of this offering numerous times, and spreading the payments out really helps make the trip more palatable. Walt Disney World vacation packages for 2023 were released today, so it’s the perfect time to head over to the website and price out a trip. This will help you get an idea of your desired budget and let you know what payments would look like if you start now!
Collecting and saving up
Disney Gift Cards is another great option for paying for your Disney World Vacation. Since my kids enjoy trips to Walt Disney World, family and friends often give them Disney Gift Cards in lieu of traditional gifts for birthdays and holidays. After all, more toys just junk up the house anyway. They’d much rather go to Disney!
I hope this helps, Shawna’!
