Hello, Is there a 2 day weekend park ticket for a FL resident? I did not see the option online. If not, do I then just purchase a regular two day park ticket?

Hey Howdy Hey Tanya and welcome to planDisney!

Being a Florida resident comes with so many great perks for Walt Disney World Resort. The first, and probably biggest, is the proximity to the parks. The second is the great offers that Disney has from time to time for discounts to the parks and resorts. It seems that the special offers for Florida residents are in some capacity always there, but they do seem to change from time to time so let's talk about where to look.

When accessing the Walt Disney World Resort site, under "Parks & Tickets", you will the "Florida Residents" landing page. Here you will see the special tickets and offers for Florida residents and links to access them. You might also want to keep an eye on the Special Offers section of the site. Especially with this one, you have to log onto your My Disney Experience account with your Florida resident information updated on your profile to access some of these great offers unique to residents.

To your point on what is available currently, it looks like you have two options. The first is a 40% discount on a 4-day park ticket and the other is with a Florida Resident Annual Pass. Looks like currently there is not a two-day weekend pass as you mention, so your best bet would be to purchase a regular two-day park ticket. Make sure when you go to purchase your tickets before you check out online fill out the "Your Florida Resident Information" form. You can easily submit your proof of residency digitally and not have to stop by a Vacation Planning window so just straight to the parks upon arrival!

I hope you have a fun and exciting time planning your upcoming trip and of course enjoy the parks! Let us know if you have any further questions.

    Happy planning,

    Nick
