Greetings, Space Ranger Teresa! It's so good to see you again at planDisney. Your Walt Disney World Resort visit is a lightspeed boost away, so let's talk about where you can meet Star Command's number one space traveler, Buzz Lightyear. To infinity, and beyond!
While Buzz isn't currently on the schedule for meet-and-greets at
Magic Kingdom Park, in his own words, "This is no time to panic!" You can take some fantastic photos inside the queue at
Buzz Lightyear's Space Ranger Spin in Tomorrowland. Near the end of the line, you'll see a large animatronic figure of Buzz who welcomes "rookie" guests and explains the attraction's mission. Many people stop here for photos, so my tip is to take your time and have another guest snap some pictures of you with Buzz in the background. Your granddaughter will be so impressed!
At the end of your adventure on Space Ranger Spin, you'll find yourself in a fabulous gift shop full of
Toy Story merchandise.
Store Command would be the perfect spot to find a Buzz Lightyear souvenir for your granddaughter. I recently saw an interactive Buzz from Toy Story 5 there!
If meeting this intergalactic hero is high on your list, you could upgrade your theme park ticket with the
Park Hopper Option and head to Disney's Hollywood Studios. Buzz typically meets guests in
Toy Story Land, along with his pals Woody and Jessie.
