Welcome, Lisa and thanks for stopping by planDisney!
Lisa, as a
Disney Vacation Club Member whose "home" resort is
Copper Creek Villas & Cabins at Disney's Wilderness Lodge, I'm excited to hEAR you'll be enjoying this property! With its rustic but upscale décor and water taxi access to
Magic Kingdom Park, this resort has so much to love!
Now, Lisa, my love of Disney doesn't stop at the Disney Resorts Collection hotels, but extends to dining as well and if you haven't experienced
Topolino's Terrace- Flavors of the Rivera before, you are in for a European treat in a truly grand setting. Now, Lisa, let's make sure you get can to your dinner!
First, you are welcome to use
Disney Bus Transportation even when you don't have a park ticket for that day. One option to reach
Disney's Riviera Resort would be to take the bus from Disney's Wilderness Lodge to Disney Springs and then hop aboard a bus to Disney's Riviera Resort. Often using
Disney Springs as a transfer station is the easiest way to navigate getting from one resort to another.
Another option would be to use
the water taxi from Disney's Wilderness Lodge to Magic Kingdom Park and then hop aboard a bus from there to Disney's Riviera Resort. However, keep in mind that depending upon park hours and the time of your dinner reservation, you may not be able to take the same trip in reverse (
in this case I recommend a bus to Disney Springs for the return trip).
If you wish to travel as the birds do and
experience the Disney Skyliner, yet another choice would be to take a bus from Disney's Wilderness Lodge to Disney's Hollywood Studios and then board the Disney Skyliner to Disney's Riviera Resort. Again, dependent upon park hours and the time of your dinner reservation, you may not be able to take the same trip in reverse (
in this case I recommend a bus to Disney Springs for the return trip).
Finally, Lisa, if you would like the most direct route possible, you could (
for a fee) use a rideshare service such as Lyft or Uber and as a guest with an advanced dining reservation, you only need to let the Cast Member know at the parking podium upon arrival and you will be dropped off in front of the resort.
Lisa, I hope this helps give you a few ideas about the best, easiest or most fun way to reach your dinner destination. Make sure to allow yourself adequate travel time between resorts and don't forget your appetite!
Best wishes Lisa for a Magical vacation. I hope to see you hEAR again at planDisney with any other questions you might have!
