Hello, I’m from the UK. What methods of payment can I use to purchase DVC? Thanks Ant

Hi there, Anthony! Thanks so much for visiting planDisney - and from across the pond, too! I'm so excited that you're considering joining Disney Vacation Club, and it's my pleasure to explain the options available for UK residents to become part of the family. Let's get right to it!

Joining DVC was a great decision for our family, and we have never regretted it. It is a really exciting time to join, as new Members have the option to select from not one but TWO new properties. The Cabins at Disney's Fort Wilderness Resort went on sale earlier this year, and the long-awaited Island Tower at Disney's Polynesian Villas & Bungalows starts direct sales on October 1.

First and foremost, I recommend speaking directly with a Disney Vacation Club Sales Guide so that you are fully informed before signing on the dotted line of a new DVC contract! These folks know all of the ins and outs of Membership and can share their expertise with you. Your Guide will also know of any available incentives that may make it more financially viable to join DVC.  You can schedule an on-demand webinar or a virtual meeting and have dedicated time to talk specifics and get answers to any questions you may have.

When I chatted with some DVC Sales Guides recently, they let me know that Guests from the UK may purchase their Membership if paying in full while onsite at a location in the United States. Residents of England, Northern Ireland, Scotland, and Wales cannot finance their purchase through Disney Vacation Club at this time, but you could potentially secure a loan in the UK to make your Membership dreams come true.

Anthony, when you are calculating your DVC costs, be sure to factor in the Annual Dues that you will be responsible for each year during the life of your Membership. These costs go toward renovations and refurbishments of your Home Resort so they are in tip-top shape every time you come "Home".

I hope this information is helpful as you're weighing the pros and cons of Membership. It's a big decision, but the opportunity to enjoy years of magical vacations as part of Disney Vacation Club is something really special! Thanks again for visiting planDisney, and please don't hesitate to come see us again if you have other questions.

    Stay Magical!
