Hello, I'm travelling to Disneyland and my son is a Type 1 Diabetic. Wherecan I find the nutrition facts for food items sold at Disneyland Park and Disney California Adventure Park?

Hello there, Joseph! It’s my pleasure to welcome you to planDisney!

Thanks for bringing your question our way—it’s wonderful that you’re planning ahead to make your son’s visit as magical and stress-free as possible. With your Disneyland Resort trip just a few short months away, I bet you can practically hear the music playing on Main Street, U.S.A. already!

At this time, nutrition facts for food items at Disneyland Park and Disney California Adventure Park aren’t available online, though you can preview menus for most dining locations on the Disneyland website and mobile app. The great news is that the Disneyland Resort is happy to accommodate many special dietary requests—including low-carbohydrate and no-sugar-added options.

Here are a few ways to make dining easier during your visit. When you’re ordering at any quick-service or table-service restaurant, let the Cast Member know about your son’s dietary needs. If you’re booking advance dining reservations, you’ll also usually see an option to note dietary restrictions during the booking process. For snack carts and kiosks, while they can’t customize items, you may request to view the product packaging so you can check ingredients and nutrition details yourself.

Another tip is to bring along your son’s favorite snacks to keep him fueled throughout the day. Outside food is welcome, as long as it’s not in glass containers and doesn’t require refrigeration or reheating. Quick, ready-to-go items are perfect for keeping energy up between attractions!

And finally, if you’d like additional guidance before your trip, I'd suggest reaching out directly to the Disneyland Resort's Special Diets team. You’ll find their email address listed on the Special Dietary Requests page. A Cast Member will be happy to provide personalized recommendations and support.

Joseph, I hope this helps you feel more at ease as you plan your magical visit. With a little preparation and the wonderful Cast Members by your side, your family’s Disneyland Resort adventure is sure to be filled with joy, laughter, and plenty of pixie dust!

    Have a magical visit!
