    Hello, Im traveling with two 10 year old boys and husband during Thanksgiving 2013, debating between Polynesian Resort or the Beach Resort, any suggestions? Or perhaps another fun recommendation? Thanks

    Hi, Silvia!

    This is a tough decision!  Both the Polynesian and the Beach Club are super fun resorts.   Let me give you some reasons for each:

    Polynesian is a beautiful tropical resort.  It is on the Monorail line so this will be perfect if you plan to spend a lot of time at the Magic Kingdom. You can walk to the Transportation and Ticket Center for a monorail over to Epcot.  There is a nice food court area, perfect with kids, and the beach is so relaxing in the evenings with the best views of the Magic Kingdom and Wishes!  There is a Volcano Pool that my kids love with a waterfall and water slide. 

    The Beach Club is on the Boardwalk and just a short walk from Epcot.  You can also walk to Hollywood Studios or get there by boat.  The Beach Club is home to Stormalong Bay, one of the best pools around!  If your boys like to swim, they will love this pool.   It is second to none on property.  There are several restaurants on the Boardwalk your family will enjoy like the ESPN Grill or Beaches and Cream Soda Shop.

    I would make my final decision based on what your park plans are. If you are planning on spending the majority of your time at Magic Kingdom, choose the Polynesian.  If you are going to be at Epcot and Hollywood Studios a lot and swimming is a priority, go for the Beach Club.

    The good thing?  You cannot go wrong with either choice!  Both Deluxe Resorts are going to be great choices for your family.  Keep me posted on your decision. Once you decide, I can give your more details on your resort choice and dining suggestions.  Good luck!
