Hello, I'm planning on traveling solo to Disney world in may with my young daughter. I'm hoping to not have to lug a car seat along on the plane with us. What options do I have to get to our resort when we land at MCO?

Hi there Megan, welcome to planDisney! Thanks for stopping by with your question, I'm thrilled to help! Can you believe your trip to Walt Disney World Resort is right around the corner? You are sure to make awesome memories at The Most Magical Place on Earth!

My husband and I have a 3 year old toddler so I definitely understand not wanting the hassle of walking around with a car seat. Megan, as I am sure you know, Disney no longer offers transportation to the resorts from the airport. Because of that my family and I almost always book with Mears Connect. Their website has great information on pricing and how to book. In researching transportation options, I found them the most affordable transport from Orlando International Airport (MCO) to all the Disney Resort hotels. The great part is these buses are located in the same location as we used to board Disney's Magical Express.

After booking, you will be sent a confirmation email that contains your boarding pass. You can either print it or show the pass on your phone. I always opt to show the code from my phone as it is one less thing to add to my to do list.

And how awesome that you'll be visiting with your little one! As I mentioned, we have a 3 year old that we've been taking to the parks since she was 10 months old. There are so many attractions, rides and activities for little ones! I'll start with our daughter's favorite; meeting characters! I find character dining the easiest to get this done. You get to beat the heat by being indoors and you often times get to see multiple characters in one location. Our girl loves Mickey, Minnie and Goofy so a reservation at Chef Mickey's is a must at every visit!

I hope this information helps you prepare for an exciting visit to Walt Disney World Resort, Megan! Thank you again for visiting planDisney. We'll see ya real soon!
