Hi Melissa!
My family are huge fans of the
Walt Disney World Water Parks! We have annual passes, so you can find us splashing around at
Disney's Blizzard Beach or
Disney's Typhoon Lagoon quite often, especially in the summer.
We visited Blizzard Beach last month with friends who purchased the Splash Pack. I thought about it for my family, but ultimately figured it wasn't a good deal for us because we didn't need the souvenir towel and we had refillable mugs from previous visits that we reactivated at a discount.
The Splash Pack is currently $44 plus tax per person and includes one refillable drink mug, one entree, one dessert and one souvenir beach towel of your choice. The drink mug you receive is similar to the Resort hotel refillable mugs, but work for unlimited refills at either Blizzard Beach or Typhoon Lagoon for that day only. The food is not unlimited. You can choose any beach towel except ones that are a different shape like the Mickey surfboard. There are really cute water park specific towels that my friend chose for hers.
I wouldn't recommend getting your 2 year old the Splash Pack unless you want them to have their own beach towel and refill mug. Otherwise, you can purchase them a kids meal which comes in a souvenir sand pail with shovel for under $10. There is a nice sandy area in
Tike's Peak, an area at Blizzard Beach that's exclusively for small children to splash around in, that's great to play with the sand pails.
Please stop back by and visit if you have any additional vacation planning questions or if you'd like more information on planning your Blizzard Beach day!
Have a magical day!
Leslie
