Hi there, Chelsea, and thanks for bringing your question to the Disney Parks Moms Panel! No problem, that’s what we’re hEAR for, and I’d be happy to help!
It’s a great idea to check out the stroller rules ahead of time so you don’t run into any issues at the Security Checkpoint. The
Disneyland Resort Rules state that strollers can’t exceed 31” (79 cm) in width by 52” (132 cm) in length. I’m happy to report that most single and double strollers still fit within these new guidelines. In fact, my Britax B-Agile Double Stroller fits perfectly. I checked the dimensions of your stroller online, and it appears that you should be just fine. The Baby Jogger website even includes the statement, “Meets Disney Size Requirements” under the description of the City Mini, so that’s a good sign! But, I still recommend measuring the width and length from the longest and widest points of your stroller to double check the sizing before your vacation.
If you prefer to travel without your stroller, there are
Stroller Rentals available upon arrival at the
Disneyland Resort. You can rent a single, jogging-style stroller, or a double, tandem-style stroller from Stroller Rentals, located to the right of the Main Entrance of
Disneyland Park. Just keep in mind that strollers are available for rent on a daily basis, so I recommend arriving early to get one on your arrival day. Or, you can choose to rent a stroller through a local private rental company, ScooterBug, which offers length-of-stay rentals. You can reach ScooterBug at (800) 726-8284.
The Disneyland Resort does a great job of making a day in the theme parks more convenient for families with
little Mouseketeers. I highly recommend checking out the
Baby Care Centers located in both parks. You can find the Disneyland Park location on Main Street, U.S.A., and the
Disney California Adventure Park location on Pacific Wharf. These Centers are the ideal spot to take a break, feed, nurse, or change your little one in a comfortable setting. You’ll even find handy vending machines selling popular baby items in case you forgot anything.
Last but not least,
here’s the Entertainment Schedule for your arrival date so you can start mapping out the magic. I’m so excited for you and your family to experience the
Lunar New Year celebrations inside Disney California Adventure Park! You won’t want to miss
Mulan’s Lunar New Year Procession, featuring Mulan, Mushu, a Chinese dragon puppet, warriors, drummers and dancers. You can find this special Procession in Paradise Gardens Park at various times throughout the day.
Wishing you magical adventures with your family at the Happiest Place on Earth, Chelsea!
