Hello! I'm hoping to travel to Disney World for a month with two of my friends, and we're hoping to do the Disney Dining Plan, if we arrived and we wanted to add another day to it would that be something we could do? Thank you! :)

    Hi Maria!

Thank you for sending in your question to the Disney Parks Moms Panel.

It's been my experience that is relatively easy to stay another night at Walt Disney World but not always in the same resort, except perhaps during the busiest times of the year.  At the busiest times of the year, it can be very hard to stay another night at Walt Disney World.  We've done it about four times over the past ten years and on two of the occasions we could stay in the same resort, but not in the same room; on the other two occasions we had to change to a different resort.

If you want to try the Disney Dining Plan, be sure to add that to your reservation before arriving at Walt Disney World.  The Disney Dining Plan can't be added once you are at Walt Disney World.  Also, in the one case above when we were on the Disney Dining Plan during the trip, we couldn't extend it by one extra night.

To tell if the Disney Dining Plan makes sense for your party, I suggest looking at the independent website AllEars.Net.  At All Ears, you can see the menu, including prices, for all of the Quick Service and Table Service locations within Walt Disney World.  Be sure to make Advance Dining Reservations (ADRs) for any Table Service restaurants you want to try.  They are critical and they can be made online or by calling (407) WDW-DINE.

I hope this helps!  Please write back with more questions!
