Hello. I’m gonna be staying off property because rooms are sold out, and I want to know what’s best, take an uber to the TTC or is it possible to take an Uber to the Contemporary? Thank you, any help is appreciated!!!

Hello there, Lucia. Welcome to planDisney! Let's get your transportation question answered.

If you are planning on using a rideshare to get yourself to Magic Kingdom Park, your best bet is to have them drop you off at the Transportation and Ticket Center. From there, you can typically either board a boat or take the Walt Disney World Monorail to the park. The security guards at Disney's Contemporary Resort will often ask you for the name on your resort reservation or dining reservation at the hotel, sometimes even requesting to scan your ticket media to gain entry. I have had this experience pretty much each time I've taken a rideshare to this resort...which is a bunch since Bay Lake Tower at Disney's Contemporary Resort is my home resort with Disney Vacation Club.

Now, I see that you're going to be visiting during the EPCOT International Festival of the Arts, which starts on January 17th and runs until February 24th, 2025. So, while you should absolutely spend some time enjoying the offerings in Magic Kingdom Park, make sure you don't skip EPCOT during this time of year. There's the Disney on Broadway Concert Series, the Food Studios, and so much more. In fact, they recently announced who will be performing at the concert series this year. It looks like a great lineup! I'll be there during the festival, and I am very excited to check everything out!

Lucia, enjoy that trip, and if you arrive at the Transportation and Ticket Center with time to spare, definitely consider taking the boat over. It's such a great way to get to the gates of the park!

If you have any other questions, please don't hesitate to reach out.

Happiness is a state of mind,
