Hi Matt! Thanks for reaching out to us again here at planDisney.
While I sincerely hope that you'll be able to make it to the
Walt Disney World Resort for your March trip, it's always important to know what the options would be if you are unable to make it. When things happen and you have to pivot, it's important to know
how you can pivot so you can make a plan.
At this time,
theme park tickets to the Walt Disney World Resort cannot be transferred to the
Disneyland Resort. However, their value does not expire. When you're ready to rebook your trip, you can usually apply the value you paid for them towards the purchase of new tickets to the Walt Disney World Resort. But I do want to point out that if you have booked a vacation package (theme park tickets
and Disney Resorts Collection Hotel room reservation purchased together), you may have a little more flexibility with canceling. If you cancel this type of package between 2 days and 29 days before your arrival, you are usually able to get back the full amount of the package, minus the deposit and any other third-party fees that might have been assessed. Be sure to check the
Terms and Conditions to see if this applies to you!
If March doesn't work out, I have my fingers and toes crossed that you will get back to the resort at some point in the future. There are so many
wonderful experiences coming to the resort in 2024 and I think your family will have a wonderful time! I mean, who doesn't want to
float down the bayou on
Tiana's Bayou Adventure when it opens in
Magic Kingdom Park this summer? I know I do!
If you have any other questions,
I'm here for you. And
I'm wishing upon a star for you. Truly.
I never look back, darling, it distracts from the now,
Matt
