Mary from FL Asked Please note that experiences, policies, pricing and other offerings are subject to change and may have changed since the date of this answer.

Hello, If we are traveling with a guest who just purchased a new pass, do we need to stop at the ticket and transportation hub or can we go straight to the gates to enter and obtain a pass? Thank you.

    Hi Mary!

Traveling with friends and family brings such excitement and laughter, creating memories that last a lifetime. As a Disney Annual Passholder, you not only get to cherish these moments more frequently but also enjoy a treasure trove of special perks and benefits.

From exclusive events and discounts on merchandise to sneak peeks at new attractions and seasonal celebrations, being an Annual Passholder truly enhances the magic of every visit.
In my experience, if your travel companion has just purchased their Disney Annual Pass, they'll need to stop by Guest Relations to redeem it. It's a quick process where they'll present their valid photo ID and, if applicable, proof of Florida residency for those wonderful Florida Resident discounts.

Once that's all squared away, you'll be free to skip (monorail or take that Ferryboat ride) over to the Magic Kingdom Park entrance and dive into the excitement together. Here's to a fantastic day of making memories and enjoying the perks of being a passholder!
