Hello, If we plan on splitting the military ticket into two different trips, would the person with the military ID need to be with us on both trips?

    Greetings Rachel!

Welcome to the Disney Parks Moms Panel. First I'd like to extend a "thank you" to the military service member in your family. Since my husband also serves, we often purchase the specially priced 3-Day or 4-Day Park Hopper Tickets for military families. These tickets can be purchased at your local military base but will need to be activated at the gate when you first arrive to the parks. At this activation time, everyone will need to be present with the military ID holder as you enter. For the remainder of the ticket you will not need to be with this person at the gate when you enter parks on the other days. I often have split up my 4-Day Park Hopper ticket for two 2-Day weekend trips. My husband has only needed to be with me on the very first day of activation even if the trips are split up. The fact that these special military tickets are valid during the entire year and do not have to be used within 13 days like standard tickets makes them so much more valuable.

I hope you can also take advantage of some other military perks such as the discounted Disney PhotoPass Collection product and discounts on select Disneyland Resort Hotel rooms.

Please return if you have any other questions, and have a magical day!
