Hello there Juanita,
Welcome to planDisney and thanks so much for your question! I certainly understand that sometimes plans change and luckily the Disneyland Resort makes it pretty quick and easy to alter vacation plans.
Typically, theme park tickets don't expire for quite a long time. For example, if you purchased tickets today then they would not expire until January 12, 2025. The exception to this would be if the tickets have been used at all - like if you had three-day tickets, spent one day in the parks, but have yet to use the other two days. If the tickets have been partially used then they must be used within 13 days of first use.
You should be able to check your ticket purchase confirmation email to see when your specific tickets will expire. However, even if they do end up expiring before you're able to visit the parks, you can always apply the amount paid for those tickets to the purchase of future tickets so long as the new tickets are equal to or greater than the amount paid for the original ticket.
If you have theme park reservations and haven't canceled them yet, I would recommend doing so. That can be done on the Disneyland website under "My Disneyland" and then select "My Plans." If you had set up theme park reservations, you would see them here and would be able to click "Cancel Reservation" next to each day. Then, when you're ready to select new days for your trip, you can use your existing tickets and
make new theme park reservations for them as long as your tickets have not expired!
You can see all the details for ticket expiration on the bottom of the
theme park ticket purchase page or you can
call a Cast Member at the tickets line if you have any other questions about your specific situation. Then, when you're ready to plan your trip to the Disneyland Resort, come back and visit us again here at planDisney so we can help you plan your best trip ever!
Thank you again for your question, Juanita, and have a magical day,
Greg
