Hello, If we are arriving on a Monday, can we start to use our dining plan after we check in, for instance for dinner on Monday night. Thank you.

Hi Aneta! Thanks for bringing your question to the Disney Parks Moms Panel. One of the things that I love about the Disney Dining Plan is knowing that my meals are paid for in advance. It is great not having to worry about budgeting money for meals while in the parks, and it is nice to just sit and enjoy a meal with your family and not worry about money. After you check into your Walt Disney Resort Hotel, you can begin to experience the convenience of the Disney Dining Plan. Right after check-in I usually go straight to get my refillable mug and a quick snack before we head out to the parks. The refillable mugs are not available for refill at the parks, but we always fill ours up before we leave our resort.

If you are still perusing the many dining options at Walt Disney World, may I suggest Chef Mickey's for your first dinner? We love going to Chef Mickey's on the night of our first day at Disney because it always has an energetic atmosphere and a buffet that will satiate any Mousketeer's hunger. You also get a warm Walt Disney World welcome from the Fab Five! Mickey Mouse, Minnie Mouse, Goofy, Donald, and Pluto will all make their way to your table for hugs, autographs, laughs and photos. Dinner at Chef Mickey's would be a great way to kick off the start of your Walt Disney World vacation.

If you have any more questions, please feel free to stop by and we'd be happy to help! Have magical day.
