Hello, I'd like to know if Bluey will be a temporary or permanent attraction, if my 2-year-old daughter will need a ticket, and what options are available at Disney to celebrate her second birthday without staying overnight—this will be

    Hi there, Maria!

I love it when a fellow Floridian stops by to visit us here at planDisney. Disney World and birthdays go hand-in-hand, and my family just can’t get enough enjoying our special milestones there. You definitely have some fun times ahead celebrating your little one’s birthday!

Let’s start with how you can visit Australia right here in our backyard. Animal Kingdom is now the home of the Bluey’s Wild World experience at Conservation Station. As of right now, the plan is for this fun, new area to be here way past the Cool KIDS’ SUMMER event. Woohoo! I’m super excited about this news, too, because my own kiddos haven’t gotten the chance to party with Bluey and Bingo yet. I just know that your little one’s eyes will light up when she sees our favorite Blue Heelers.

AN EXTRA GEM: To get to Bluey’s home, you’ll want to head to the back of Animal Kingdom in Africa. At Harambe Station, the Wildlife Express Train will take you to your destination. If your baby girl uses a stroller, you can simply fold it (like you would for a tram) so you can push her around when you’re on your way to see Bluey.

Here’s the best part: Your daughter will not need a valid form of admission to get into Animal Kingdom or any theme park. Any child under the age of 3 is good to go and is considered a Guest of Mickey. I highly recommend booking a character dining lunch for a nice midday break. You won’t have to pay for your 2-year-old at most of the All-You-Care-To-Enjoy meals. Tusker House is a great option at Animal Kingdom. She’ll get the best of both worlds: Bluey and Donald and his friends. My older son loved celebrating his birthday playing peekaboo with Mickey Mouse himself.

Maria, I added a video that should give you more celebration ideas for your little Mouseketeer. Please give us a holler here at planDisney if you have more Disney vacation planning questions. Any panelist will be more than happy to help.

    Magic always,
    LeAndra
