Hello, I zealously booked a trip with Disney world tickets and a resort reservation. I need to cancel reservation but have ticket reservations and dining in the reservation. Can I keep my dining reservations and same tickets? It’s my daughters birthday

Hey there, Jennifer, and welcome to planDisney! Thanks for stopping by the panel with your question! Let me start by saying Happy Birthday to your daughter! Walt Disney World is a fantastic birthday present! The only tough part is how do you top it next year?

Jennifer, it sounds like you booked a Walt Disney World Vacation Package for your daughter’s birthday trip. If you did, in fact, book a Vacation Package, you can cancel your reservation and receive your deposit back as long as you cancel at least 31 days before your arrival date. Since your Theme Park Tickets were purchased as part of a package, canceling the package online may also cancel your Theme Park Ticket purchase. Since you would like to keep your Theme Park Tickets and other reservations, I recommend speaking with a Resort Reservations Cast Member for further assistance. The Cast Member can help explain your options for removing your Disney Resorts Collection hotel reservation while keeping everything else intact. If that’s not possible, they can give you the best options for moving forward. After all, we have a birthday to celebrate in Disney World! Be sure to grab a Happy Birthday button when you arrive at the parks! You never know what special pixie dust may come her way.

I hope this helps, Jennifer! If you have more questions while planning your Disney Vacation, stop back by and let me know

You’ve got a friend in me,
