Welcome to planDisney, Andjela!
Combining a Walt Disney World Resort stay and a Disney Cruise Line holiday is a great idea! My best advice is to call and speak with a
Disney Cruise Line Vacation Specialist or a trusted local travel agent. Both can arrange airfare to Florida, ground transportation once you land, pre- or post-hotel stays, and theme park tickets. It’s the most hassle-free way to book your vacation.
Port Canaveral is the closest port to Walt Disney World Resort. Disney’s newest ship, the
Disney Wish, cruises to the Bahamas for three and four-night sailings. The
Disney Fantasy also sails from Port Canaveral and alternates between the Eastern and Western Caribbean for seven nights. You can’t go wrong with either ship! Plus, both ships include a stop at Disney’s private island,
Castaway Cay. It’s the perfect beach getaway! There are plenty of lounge chairs under beach umbrellas and a white sandy coastline for as far as the eye can see. Best of all, your favorite shipboard amenities, like the youth clubs and entertainment staff, move to the island for the day!
Alternatively, you can build your own
land and sea vacation by booking each component separately on the
Disney Cruise Line and
Walt Disney World Resort websites. Make sure you download the
Disney Cruise Line Navigator app and the
My Disney Experience app to keep track of your reservations. Both apps will point you towards the magic at sea and on land.
