Hello, I was wondering if the Sword in the Stone is back in it's spot in Fantasyland? It was missing on our last trip and I heard it may not be returning. My kids always loved to try to remove it. Thank you!

    Hello, Jamie,

Thank you for sending your question to the Disney Parks Moms Panel.  I'm so happy to let you know that Disney Mom Wilma just shared the great news that the Sword in the Stone is back at Walt Disney World!  Won't it be so much fun for your kids and other guests to dream about pulling out the sword and becoming the King of England? I know my boys loved posing for so many silly pictures with the Sword in the Stone when they were younger. The photos are so much fun to look at now; I really cherish those great memories we made and wish you the same happy memories.

By the way, did you know about Disney Early Morning Magic - Fantasyland? It is a separate ticket event that guests purchase along with their regular theme park ticket where they can visit Fantasyland for two hours before it opens to other guests. During this time, those guests can enjoy the following attractions with little to no wait time:

    -“it’s a small world”
    -Mad Tea Party
-The Many Adventures of Winnie the Pooh
    -Peter Pan's Flight
    -Princess Fairytale Hall
    -Seven Dwarfs Mine Train
-Under the Sea ~ Journey of the Little Mermaid

And with smaller crowds, there are great opportunities for incredible photos throughout Fantasyland, including the Sword in the Stone.  And not only can guests enjoy the above attractions, but they also have breakfast included at Cosmic Ray's Starlight Café. It is so much fun!

Wishing your children the best of luck in getting the sword out of the stone!  -Kara
