Hi Allyson,
Thank you for visiting us here at the Disney Parks Moms Panel. I hope you are having a Tow-rrific day.
The Disneyland Resort is fantastic for helping Guests with mobility disabilities. When you arrive to park at one of the Disneyland Resort Parking Structures, you can ask as you pay for the parking for the closest parking areas. Or if you have a valid disability parking permit they will direct you to the parking for Guests with disabilities. (However, if there is no ground floor parking available, each level has an elevator.)
The Disneyland Resort Transportation is wheelchair and ECV accessible. Many Disneyland Resort transportation systems have a special ramp that are used to accommodate various types of wheelchairs and Electric Conveyance Vehicles (ECVs) and the Guest. “For all Disneyland Resort transportation options, wheelchairs and ECVs must fit without being forced on lifts, ramps and in designated wheelchair spaces. Once in the vehicle, wheelchairs and ECVs must be able to be securely fastened via restraints. Please note: oversized wheelchairs, Electric Conveyance Vehicles and scooters may be too large for some of our transportation.” I’m attaching the
link here regarding disability parking for you.
I hope this helps, Allyson. Please feel free to write back with any other questions you may have as your pixie-dusted planning continues!
chEARs!
